The Second Gear Shop at Germantown Academy is a consignment shop that collects and sells previously owned school uniforms. By leveraging our expertise in logo and print product production, we rebranded the Second Gear visual identity to capture the school's devotion to student success.
With the mission of providing affordable school uniforms to students at Germantown Academy, the parents' committee necessitated a logo that would effectively represent their cause. To match this visual identity, we designed a brandmark of a t-shit within a gear - a play on the store's name. The typeface, Gilroy Extrabold, was chosen for its unimposing and almost welcoming typography.
